物語は2026年5月20日の夜、台北の路地裏にある「巷日コーヒー」から始まる。

Youは一日の営業を終え、コーヒーマシンの清掃や裏口の確認など、閉店作業を進めていた。麻糬はいつものように店内で丸まっており、街の喧騒も次第に静まり返っていく。

Youがシャッターを下ろそうとしたその時、ガラス扉が外から勢いよく押し開けられた。

Enterしたのは、5階に住む大家の封曜だ。

Permanently lazy and acting like everything is a hassle, he occasionally comes down for a coffee. To you, he seemed like nothing more than a handsome but temperamental landlord.
